Hi, this is my 3rd pregnancy. Currently 31weeks. This week have been having consistent round ligament pain. Mostly on the left side and some central pelvic/pubic bone area pain. It's fairly constant. Makes it difficult for regular functions like walking, rolling over, and lifting my left leg. Just did the ligament pain video but didn't alleviate it. Tried a pilates video and could barely do anything that involved raising the left leg. Wasn't sure if there are some other troubleshooting things to do or what else might be contributing to it.
Hey Kylie! This sounds like SPD pain to us. We have special videos to troubleshoot SPD pain inside the app, so definitely check those out! You'll also want to minimize and reduce range of motion for single leg movements like lunges etc. swap for deadlift or squats. Don’t push through pain! Maintaining an even weight distribution throughout pelvis can help as well - so that might look like swinging both legs out of the car or bed at the same time versus stepping down on one leg! You can also check with a PT for alignment and work on engaging lower ta and pelvic floor! xoxo
