What are the benefits of Pelvic floor and abdominal exercises done during/after pregnancy? I am actively doing the abdominal breathing at least 3-4 times every week and would like to know the benefits of this. Thank you!
Hey Shruthi! These exercises are the bread and butter of maintaining good core and pelvic floor function throughout pregnancy. Maintaining the connection to these muscle groups will aid in recovery and help reconnect after birth. The TVA and pelvic floor are what provide support to your belly, spine, and organs as your belly changes and grows. 3-4x a week is a great routine, daily is even better! Nice job!
