I'm starting the first trimester calendar, and I noticed a lot of the show and go strength+cardio has some running in it. It's getting cold in the northeast, and the clothing that's appropriate for running outside doesn't match what I'd wear inside for the rest of the workout. Any alternatives for running, and does it change per trimester? Right now I'd do something like jumping jacks, but maybe that's too high impact for later?
Hey girl! Yes you can totally sub out running for things like jumping jacks, high knees, running in place, speed skaters - really anything that gets your you blood pumping. Later on you can definitely modify these or choose something that is a little more low impact like marching, taping your legs side to side, ect :)
